We just finished the installation of the old toolbox, auxiliary fuel tank and Demco auto-slider hitch in the new truck. When you're retired you don't want to do it all in one day!

Sunday I installed a hard wired Progressive Industries EMS in the belly of the beast and mounted the display unit in a cabinet face that I can see when I open the front door....right after powering up to shore power. Next, I took out the single 12V battery battery and started the install of my two 6V Trojan T-105s....golf cart batteries. I had to modify the battery box because the batteries are now inside the front compartment by the generator and hydraulics, and they need positive ventilation. I used a 1 3/4" hole saw to make a hole in the bottom of the box and another in the lid. The lid has a flexible hose attached to it that goes to a grill in the front of the trailer, and the bottom hole vents to the outside of the trailer bottom. Next job is to get my TPMS booster wired up to the trailer 12V and get that system working again. Six trailer tires to monitor now instead of four, so I had to purchase two more wheel transmitters.

Replaced the plastic vacuum breaker/check valve assembly with brass fittings.
The OEM assembly was a bit of a challenge. Instead of being up inside the bathroom vanity, it was behind the shower wall. All four pex lines go through the floor at the same point, but the vacuum breaker was placed between the vent stack and the outside wall. Took a little finesse (and some sailor vocabulary) to get the breaker and the pex lines on the near side of the vent stack. Luckily, there was enough slack in the lines to let me bring the breaker out of the wall cavity to work on.
Replaced the OEM unit with a Case-Acme vacuum breaker and then added a Camco brass check valve (both from Amazon for $26) on the outlet side. Connected the new unit with Shark-Bite fittings.
On our previous trailer, I had replaced the plastic breaker with a couple of fittings. This worked, but I was concerned about back flow into the campground system. This set-up simply replaces the OEM with brass while keeping the intended function of the OEM fitting intact.
BTW - the compression nuts on the vacuum breaker and the shower faucet were less than hand tight. Weren't leaking...yet.

I have a roll of aluminium tape laying around from another project this will be a good way to make use of it when I pull it out of storage in April.

It’s been a busy weekend for our Laredo. Took it yesterday and got new 10 ply Carlisles mounted and installed to replace the goodride 8 ply that came on it from the factory.
Also installed the TPMS and got it programmed.
We bought it in November and it had already been winterized so we’ve been anxious all winter for spring to get here to thoroughly go thru it. Overall everything turned out good. Had a leaking supply line to the toilet. Easy fix as it had been poorly tightened. 2 of our waste tanks were mislabeled.
When we tried to test our black tank flush I figured out the back flow valve had been installed backwards. It was a easy fix with the valve being beneath the bath sink. Easy to get to.
We’re ready for the maiden voyage in 2 weeks!!

Looked at mine to see how much snow was still on it. Should be gone in a day or two.

I repaired the cable carriers under the slideouts. I used a gate hinge to better attach the broken plastic carrier. Much better!

Not all one day, but over the last 2 weeks.
New 30 Amp hookup at home
Detachable Shore Power Connection
Pass-through Storage Organized
(No Picture) New RVLock v4 on main door and keyed-alike locks on 3 storage doors as well as new twist latches (all matching RVLock style). Installed magnets to hold doors open (don't have to use the spring-hook now)
Planned work: Run a DC line to pass-through storage to power a light in the compartment as well as the TPMS signal booster. Install a battery cut-off switch

Installed a Amish cooling unit on my Norcold 1210...Happy camper now..
Screwed around with techs throwing parts at mine for 3 months with no resolve just a very unhappy wife...and a warming oven for a refrigerator...We did determine that the old unit had debris internally possibly causing issue's.
