New Bullet Family!

Hi Folks! Our family just put the deposit down on a new 2019 Bullet 243BHS with the Coastal Cottage interior. My wife and 2 kids(7 and 5) are extremely excited about it. My wife and I both grew up camping and camped before we had kids. Our kids are at the right age for us and we are ready to get back into it. Having to have the camper shipped from a Camping World in Mississippi even though we live in Florida as I could not find the interior color combo we liked anywhere close. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to be able to do a checkout at the local Camping World here. Will be towing it with a 2016 GMC Sierra Denali 1500. I could use some suggestions on the right weight distribution setup. Have heard that equalizer is a good one but open to suggestion. I assume ball is 2 5/16. Have towed numerous boats in my lifetime but never a camper.

Hi again and looking forward to taking it nice and slow.

Welcome from North Carolina!

The Equalizer is a good setup. I have a Husky Centerline and it is also a good setup. Whatever you decide I recommend choosing one with a 4 pt sway control. It will give you vastly more control than a standard 2 pt hitch.

Welcome to the forum from SE Texas. I've not used a WDH/TT in about 10 years but, everything I hear is for the equalizer 4 point.

The dealer your buying your TT from should have offered one in your purchase package. Check with them for the setup you would need. Have fun with new TT.
