Potter's Creek COE, San Antonio
4 night stay at this large, great campground on Canyon Lake, north of San Antonio. We stayed Wed-Sat nights just before Labor Day. We had the place to ourselves until Friday afternoon, even then, lots of space for all. Beautiful views of lake, good swimming area, deer passed nearby (and accepted treats of peanuts) on way to lake. $18/night, water and elect, dump station nearby. A few over-the-air HD TV channels. Very well maintained, nearby bathhouse, large level sites, each with large, covered picnic table, grill and fire ring. Some sites by reservation, others first-come-first-serve...park was full and we had reservations.
