Since my RV is either "in use" at a campsite.... Or is parked, plugged-in inside my shop at home, I really don't store my cord per se...
When on the road (about the only time it's not being used), I just toss it in the back of my pickup truck... It's a big, heavy SOB and I can understand not wanting to deal with it.
If I was parked at a storage lot, I would probably put it in the front compartment where the generator prep is.

I just got a 50 to 30 adaptor for Christmas so now I only have to deal with the 30 amp cord. Do you have to use the 50? (dual AC's, etc.)
BTW, I did keep the 50 amp cord in the basement right next to the outlet, didn't have to drag it anywhere that way.

We store ours on the back of the truck, ya I know I got alot of room. We also carry an extra 30' 50 amp and a 50' 30 amp, you never know when you will need the extra length or someone needs to borrow one........

Yes we have dual a/cs so we have to use the 50 amp cord.I have to much stuff in both of our basement storages so I have to lay it in the garage of the camper its a bitch having to open the rear garage door all the time. With our unit we have the side patio deck to so we lost our side rear door ,love the side deck though.

I thought about putting it in the back of the truck but traveling and stopping I am afraid of someone taking it seeing how much copper is going for these days.

Mine is coiled up in the front compartment where I put when we took delivery of the fiver. It's never been used. Like several others, I picked up a 50 to 30 dog bone and a 30 amp extension. It's a lot lighter and we only need 30 amp service with the one A/C.
I also have a 30 to 15 adapter and a 100' heavy duty extension cord on a wind-up reel. When we dry camp, it's even easier to use and I can site the generator well away from the trailer and other campsites.

power cords
My Fuzion came with three propane tanks. One was stored in the compartment on the left side. I removed that tank and leave it at home. In the compartment I installed a hook and hang the cord there.

I've found the best way to store and move this huge cord. I bought a large bucket with rope handles, the kind used for cleaning out horse stalls. Their usually blue in color and most tack and feed stores have them. The cord is rolled up in the bucket. One end come out to plug in box, the other comes out to plug in RV, the remaining cord stays rolled up. Much easier to carry. When time to travel, coil it up in the bucket and put it in the storage. That's what I do, works for me. Hope all that makes since to understand.

Old milk crate inside by the door for camping. For home, I use the Marinco 25' 30A cord with a 50a camper adapter on the camper side/end. Keeps my 50a locked up unless we need it at campsite and we do have two AC's. I use the old 30a drop cord as an extra drop cord to my cooking station havent blown any breakers in two years.

I purchased an electric cord reel for $128 and installed it upside down in my pass through on driver's side. Mounting it overhead allows for more usable space underneath. Works great.

My 325srx has a big storage area in the front- It has large hooks to hang that 50 amp cord on. But I made a 50' - 20 amp cord I use at the house or if dry camping with a generator.
I do not run ac with it- but find it quick and easy for charging the batteries and lighting.
I only drag the 50 amp cord out in a campground.

I second this one.
We saw this the second time we were out with or coach ... guy basically coiled it all nice in the laundry basket and only unravelled what he needed. We immediately went to WM and picket up two of them. Super easy to wind up and to pull out as needed. We also throw our 50->30 and 30->standard connections in there as well. Keeps it all organized niced and neat.

Doesn't interfere with the bar that goes across for the landing gear. The handle has different mount holes to tighten the range no clearance issues. It has a few other holes to adjust the spool clearance which allowed me to mount to the ceiling.
It looks like it will never fit a 25 foot cord, but once you get going no problem plenty of space. I'm convinced it could fit a 50 foot cord it you kept the cord tight as you wind it up. My only negative is there is no brake, pin or lock the cord could unwind itself. I used a bungie cord solved the issue..
