fan noise

We own a 2007 Hobbi and when it's attached to our truck and pluged into the 7 blade plug we hear some thing that sound's like a fan running down by the converter box. Any idea's?? We thought mabey it was the furnace but it's turned off. Thanks Scott

The converter has a fan that turns on when you have a bunch of 12V devices on and/or your battery is charging. But the converter is only used when you're plugged into shore power. It shouldn't be active if you're only hitched up to your truck. Is this a new noise?

It's not new but i can't remember what I did when I heard it. I traded it to a friend for a 38 ft. Raptor and he called from his trip and asked what it was... He may wind up stoping at a dealer to find out wht it is...Thanks for the response!!!dosen't the battery on the camper charge while driving?? i think i'll ask on the tech page. Thanks' again Scott

The battery charges a little while driving, but not much more than a trickle.
