Pleated Shade String

Just got home from camping in MD. While on the trip my son was playing with the shades and the string that runs though the shade broke.

Does anyone know where I could buy string to replace it? The shade is fine, and I figure it is cheaper to re-string it than try to find a new shade (plus one that matches). Thanks.

the youtube video is just great! Shortly after buying our Hideout one of the pleated shades in the slideout was too tight and started to ravel. I replaced the line before it broke. Easy and quick!

Good luck and happy camping!!

Another choice for replacing the cord in the blinds?

While camping last winter, two of our pleated blind cords became unusable
At the handy Walmart
We bought a roll of nylon cord ( almost like kite string) for $3.99
This was easy to use, did the job and seems to be much stronger and durable than the original cord
