Recommended Power Tongue Jack

My 2016 Passport Ultra Lite Express 199ML did not come with a power tongue jack, and I'm looking to replace the manual jack. I have been advised to get one that has a far higher weight rating than I actually need for longevity purposes, so I'm looking at jacks in the 3500 tongue weight class.

What brands and/or models are recommended?

Thanks,

We sell/install the LCI 3500 lb jack a lot. Haven't had one come back yet.

Cranking the manual jack gets real old real fast doesn't it.
I bought a Stromberg Carlson from Etrailer.
Good price and works just fine. Not the fastest but dependable.
I like the adjustable foot and the built in lights have come in handy.

X4 on the Husky Brute. I have the 4k unit with remote and love it. Use it with trailer in driveway that pitches down toward tongue. It will lift the truck f250 with cap and loaded bed while hitched to trailer with 1k tongue with ease.
Edit... the jack is 4.5k https://www.etrailer.com/Camper-Jack/Husky/HT87641.html

I installed a Husky Brute two years ago, with recommendations from this forum. I'm happy with my decision, and I highly recommend it.

Husky Brute with remote.

I initially bought a cheaper Jack Quick off of Amazon. It lasted about 10-11 months.

I replaced my LCI with a Stomberg Carlson 5000 lb. The LCI had a rubber grommet at the top that leaked water. The pc board was right under that seal in a little box which filled with water and it fried. I have had the SC since March but only used it 2-3 times and it works fine....it's just s l o w. I'll give it a workout starting in a couple of weeks when we head to FL.

I've have the LCI unit for the last 3 years across my 2 trailers and haven't had a complaint.
