Port cover to view water lines.
i install a port cover to view my water system after having to replace a water pump. caught it in time but will be nice to be able to check on it and the rest of the water lines and water heater from time to time. thought about installing a polycarbonate see through wall but maybe later.

I thought that basement looked familiar. I have the same setup and I just leave that panel unscrewed and pull it back now and then to check on things. It stays in place otherwise with the "friction fit" of the shower line up at the top. Nice idea though.

While reviewing your good idea, noticed that plug in the outside shower area, hopefully connected to the output of a GFI receptacle near by. Looks like it may be looks like like a label on it. If the compression fitting on your shower flex hose is like mine I am sure that GFI gets a work out Nice Job!!!

I had noticed the outlet in there too. Forgot to mention it. The outlet is no longer existent in my model year. And it (GFI) would get a workout with any of the water connections in mine.

Just curious (since my Raptor has the same layout) what is it you are checking? Just a general look around for trouble?

Op as stated in his original Post. HE had a water pump issue and wanted an easy way in the future to look back at the pump, surrounding piping, HWT, etc Without that you would have to take that wall down to check back there.

Ok, so just a general look around. Wasn't sure if there was some specific issue I needed to be on the lookout for
