Sofa upgrade

Hi,

Currently own a 2013 Fuzion 342 and am looking to upgrade our sofa with one similar to the ones we have seen on the latest Fuzion models. I have tried to find by searching but have not found a thread that talks about this. Does anyone have any idea where Keystone is getting their new sofas or has found a better alternative. Thanks.

Dave

I saw this in the Voltage last week and it was pretty comfortable. Not too thrilled with the price especially if you have to have it shipped.

RV furniture in my opinion is way over priced. I have seen Lane furniture in things I was looking at before I purchased my Alpine and was overpriced compared to buying from a store selling regular old Lane furniture. I replaced my two recliners with two European style rocking recliners with ottomans. My parents went to a Furniture store and replaced their sofa and bed combo with regular loveseat... I know the ones in the toy haulers are sometimes different and longer. I would get the space specs you have to deal with and start searching. One I think you will find a better feeling, looking product and two, save money and weight!!! Most all the mfr's have some sort of contract with established companies and some of this stuff is custom made to their specs hoping you will come back to them for replacement.. Case in point with Keystone, they put 70 x 80 king beds in where as all the competition has 72 x 80...Try and find a 70 x 80!!!! you will not. They have an extra six inches from the overhang of the nighstand so easily could have trimmed that down and put in 72 x 80 so you have options other than customized order...good luck.

Purchased two Lazy Boy recliners in a brown distressed leather. Removed factory couch. Put recliners in couch's place. Wife and I are much happier, and definitely more comfortable. Tried to sell couch - no luck with that enterprise. Couch to landfill. My problem is solved.

We can angle the recliners and also pull out the TV and adjust angle. Optimal viewing angle not possible with stock couch or new "theater" style couch.

Recliners are turned to face each other during transport. Have yet to move while in motion.

I removed our OEM airbed sleeper pleather couch (sold on CL) and replaced with a dual recliner love seat we purchased a home furniture store. Much more comfortable and we don't need the pull out bed.

DW can not tolerate the factory furniture. Had me meet her at the Lazy Boy gallery, yikes here we go. Ordered leather recliners and a reclining love seat. We had changed out the furniture in the old rig and enjoyed it for seven years. If your going to spend a lot of nights or full time it's money well spent.

We went to sofa mart in Denver and got a 3 piece sectional. The recliners are supersized (probably fit an adult and a kid) and the middle section has storage and cup holders. It fits in our slideout with about 5 inches on either side, and the recliners are wall huggers so they don't go backwards when reclined but rather straight down the wall. All in was about $1300 for the all leather version. It has been a lot nicer than the factory seating.

In my previous Raptor, I bought a sofa with a very nice air bed built in from Flexsteel RV furniture. It was very comfortable and guests loved the bed.

We replaced the factory sofa in our Carbon31 with theater style reclining sofa purchased thru Amazon (Champion Products). Delivered to our door, easy to install, and we love it! Good luck!

question since alot have already posted in here. for those of you who swapped out the stock sofas for ones found in furniture stores, what is the weight difference usually like? my wife and I are looking to take out the worn sofa in ours and replace it, but its on the slide out and we were wondering if weight would be an issue when shopping?

I do know that the dual recliner love seat I bought to replace the factory sofa bed weighs about the same or a little more. I'm not concerned abt the weight difference. You just have to make sure the depth of new sofa doesn't cause the legs of the front of the sofa make contact with the floor (load bearing area) near the inner edge of the slide floor.
The legs on my new sofa are about 6 inches in from the slide floor edge.

We removed our sleeper couch and dinette because they where so uncomfortable. Went to slumberland and found two love seats that fit perfect and the where very reasonable and very comfortable. The rv furniture is very over priced and not comfortable in my opinion.

AC Pacific "Carson"... I think it comes in gray as well. I'm really picky about the way sofas, chairs, love seats etc.. sit. This one was a great find. Zero clearance, 35" deep and the frame behind the back cushions is low enough that if fits under my valances. At under $700 I'm really pleased.

Have been looking at these sofa upgrade options, but honestly I hate to loose the storage under the current uncomfortable sofa. But like to look at the options. In the mean time storage or comfortable seating
