About to purchase a 2012 Raptor 297se, what to look for?

Not new to RVing, previous unit was a 2009 FR Sierra 335qbq 5er, but am new to toy haulers. Very excited to make the switch for bringing along golf cart or four wheeler. Just curious if you guys have any advice on things to consider prior to completing the deal? Thanks!

I'd check the manufacture date on the tires first off. Any garage soft floor around the gate. The just have fun. Welcome to the forum from Kansas City, MO!

I just bought a Keystone Impact 303 and it has a 10' garage (100" wide) and it's big enough for our purpose of hauling two motorcycles, tool box, paddock stands, etc., but if I was hauling a golf cart or maybe a side by side ATV, I would probably opt for a 12' garage. You also have to consider height inside the T.H. and make sure you have overhead clearance if the garage has beds/sofas that lower down from the ceiling.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I really like the idea of the smaller size of the entire rig, so I know I'm limiting myself some with the 10' garage. But I don't intend to haul anything very big, so I'm not too worried. Previous owner hauls his lifted golf cart fine, so I think we will be good to go. Only other thing we would tow is at most two four wheelers and I figure I can put them on dollys and put them in sideways if I had to.

You will be surprised how much room a quad really takes to load in a TH.
I have 10ft Garage and when they are both in there its full. But as other have said check the head height under the beds if they raise up, I wanted a Side by Side but not enough clearance not even enough for a Golf cart as I checked on that as well.
