New rear couch for a Fuzion 403

I re-configured the cushions and existing hardware to make a very nice couch out of the lower bed in the garage of our 403 Fuzion.
Behind the couch is a full width closet bar , concealed by the sliding curtain.
Lots of hanging storage here!

All I did was re-drill some holes in the side rails and re-locate two of the existing hinges to create a very nice , free, couch.

When needed, everything goes right back to the same size bed that was originally there.

Take a look at the pic in " New motorcycle hold downs" This section , to see what it looks like with bikes in place.

Looks great, as do your tie downs. I especially like the curtain hanging in front of the ramp door. I am considering doing this to my 315 Fuzion in order to hide the play pen and ramp door. Did you mount your curtain rod to the upper bunk bottom? Did you use a regular curtain rod?

Curtain rod

I did not use a rod. I used a steel cable curtain kit from Ikea.
It comes with anchor ends, cable.", and adjustable turnbuckle. Very slick way to hand curtains. I believe it cost 12.95. The clips that hold the curtain to the wire are also Ikea

Looks sharp!

I am looking to put up a curtain at a sliding glass door in my house and plan to hit ikea for the kit. The cable kit sounds like it will work out very well. Thanks for sharing.

Fuzion 403 Garage

I love what you are doing to your 403 Fuzion. I have the same model rig and am not thrilled with the lower bed/couch set up. It is not one of Fuzion's better ideas. Do you have any other details or photos on the Sofa Project? Did you remove your sliding glass door? I really like seeing the photos of the changes you have made as ours is needing some updating as well.

new couch

Sorry for the delay in answering…Yes I removed the sliding door. The result was a very open, spacious living area. I added the small fireplace electric heater and it works great. It easily takes care of heat in the back.
