Howdy from Real County. Living in Texas is great, we are all just starting our "Winter" travels. Texas heat is over and the nice, cool weather has began. We are heading for Kerrville-Schreiner on Monday for some Kayaking and relaxing. Who knows what happens next!?

Howdy from the Alamo. We live full time here in the south but spend almost every other weekend up near Gun Barrel City-in your neck of the woods. We enjoy the change in scenery from flat scrub to tall trees! Welcome to the forum.

Howdy from Austin! If you're heading to Central Texas, be sure to check out Palmetto State Park and Blanco State Park. These are smaller parks but have lots of interesting things to do in the nearby towns.
