Couch replacement

Hello all again,

Wondering if replacing the couch on my Cougar 244rlswe with 2 30 inch chairs is doable without modifying much in mu Cougar. Thanks

If you download the 2015 Cougar brochure here: https://www.keystonerv.com/media/229...-west-2015.pdf You'll see that the 244RLSWE was built with the option of either the sofa or two swivel rockers. So, I'd suspect that the only issue you'd have is removing the current sofa, covering the screw holes and carpet impressions and getting the new chairs through the door (clearance issues). Depending on what furniture you select, it may come apart in two or more pieces, making the installation even easier.

It's definitely a "doable" project, especially if you don't need the sleeping space.

My couch which doubled as a miserably uncomfortable pull out bed was not screwed in; just sat there. Just had to pull it out away from the wall, push it over and remove the back to take both parts out. Easy.

Those look good except for the fact that they are not the "wallaway" type. They need 12" of clearance to recline. That may interfere with the path to the door. Pulling them out when parked and pushing back in to travel can get to be a pain. YMMV

So i found these one that require less clearance:
RecPro Set of 2 Charles Collection | 30" Zero Wall RV Recliner
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJ8P124..._ZbUIBb63PTJD7

Anyone with a 244 rlswe that has replaced the uncomfortable jack knive couch with chairs out there.
Thanks
