Back

Well we made it back last night from pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg and had a great time. Trees were prefect, trails to waterfalls were good the traffic over the mountain to Cherokee and was rough but it was the weekend when we went. Camp riverslanding was also good we had site 28 and you could hear the stream all night which was great. Did go check out several other campgrounds in the area and saw some that were nice as well. Hope everyone is doing well and are still getting some trips before the weather goes south.

Fred, this is good to hear! I have called our governor and told him the coffers of our great state have been fatted so proceed with the spending.....
Just so you know that the money flows both directions, Brenda and I spent three days in northern Indiana week before last visiting the DRV plant and Shipshewana, etc. We did escape the flea market without anyone else's "stuff," but we left plenty of moola behind for cookies, hot dogs and the like! It certainly is as big as any flea market we've seen in Florida.

Had a bad storm come through last night that downed trees in some places. You left just in time. Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit.

We loved Shipshewana. Camped next to a Clydesdale farm. Shipshewana is still getting our money. We order from the Blue Gate Bakery at Christmas. Oh well
