Thanks all! We are sooooo excited! Picked it up yesterday afternoon, PDI went well. Floyd's RV in Norman have been great to work with! I was nervous about the 20-30mph winds on the way home but luckily they were behind us and not broadside as we headed down I-35. The GMC averaged 15mpg @ 65mph, but we will see how it does without the wind behind us.

Kinda sorta the same problem. Only my problem was I needed a bigger truck. That led to a bigger camper……...

Did the dealer give you any guidance on how to secure the 2 swivel chairs while towing?
Our 28SGS has the same arrangement. I had a problem with the chair backs pulling the drapery hooks from the wall. Dealer repaired it under warranty. But I went to WalMart and bought sleeping bag type cinch straps to go around the chair backs. Hard to explain, but one long strap that pulls both of the chair backs inward toward each other. Keeps them off the wall.

We had the same problem with our last TT. Dealer told me to tighten against the wall, which means shades. I swung the chairs back to back and cinched them together like you did. They never bounced around.

I didn't explain that very well. Mine are still with the backs towards the walls.

We put ours back to back and they came with straps to secure them.

I have the factory straps that anchor fore and aft from the floor hooks. That's what allowed the chairbacks to pull the curtain bracket out of the wall. Another forum member put theirs back to back and tore the facing trim off the dining/TV slide. I have a "hump" on the curb side floor that limits where the chair sits. Mine is working OK with the long straps around both chairbacks pulling them inward.
