Question 2010 24RBS Bullet tag along

Hi Fellow campers,
This is my first bumper pull camper I have owned. I am going to pull it with a 2006 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. The last 3 RVs I had were 5th wheel using a Duramax diesel. I am getting to old to pull 36 foot plus campers and have now downsized to this 24 foot one. Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi welcome and congrats. Not sure what advice you are looking for. I have never pulled a 5th wheel but have been pulling a 35 foot travel trailer the last 3 seasons, find it pretty easy. The 2 things I look out for is making wide turns at some places to avoid curbs, poles and signs and to pull up back in sites far enough to be able to swing it into the site.

might want to practice turns and backing in a pasture or parking lot, because it's going to turn a little different than a fifth wheel (but you probably found that out getting the unit home). And be sure to have a sway bar or other anti-sway system. If it's a 30amp unit might want to carry an adapter to let you plug in to the 50amp outlets since 30amp outlets/breakers are pretty worn at the RV parks. Other than that, not sure what to suggest.
