Mother Nature has sure had the last laugh all across the country this winter. Sure makes "global warming" a hard sell this season.

It snowed almost 6 hours in Tucson (about 2" total)...don't laugh, I know compared to the NE that's not much, but it was a major event in Tucson! We loved it!

A facebook post I read this morning said that Marquette Upper Harbor/Presque Isle had 213" of snow this winter with 60" on the ground and Copper Harbor had 310" with 70" on the ground. That's 5' of snow covering everything that hasn't been shoveled or plowed in Marquette and almost 6' of snow covering "everything" in Copper Harbor. They are forecast for more lake affect snow today and tomorrow with a 50% chance of partly cloudy (not partly sunny) on Sunday. It's stacking up to be one of the biggest annual snowfalls in the last 100 years... And to think the Farmer's Almanac said this winter was supposed to be colder and drier than normal.... Sort of missed that one, at least in northern Michigan and the UP.
We "escaped to Ohio" to visit with our grand daughter's family and her new baby, our first great grand daughter.... Tonight we were walking around in shirt sleeves (30F) with a very light snow. People were looking at us like we were crazy. Compared to last night's -10F, this is a "virtual heat wave" LOL

Snow Me Your Pictures-Browns Point WA
Browns Point WA
We're at the entrance of the Port of Tacoma on Puget Sound. We have a saying here that "It never snows in Brows Point."
It will snow two blocks up the road and not here.
When we picked up our Cougar we camped the weekend at Larrabee State Park in Bellingham and Sunday morning woke up to snow. Made it south before the big snow fall. By the way, Larrabee was the first place we camped with our first little Terry 5th wheel. 17.5'- littlest ever built.
Sorry, couldn't get the picture to flip. Must of taken picture upside down with the phone.

Here’s a picture of spring time in Minneapolis.
It was 68 a few days ago.

Well, I can't "snow" a picture I guess. Back in W TX; high 80s the last few days; 90 today, howling winds and brown sand that blacks out the highway (had to run to Lubbock to look at RVs). By Saturday the high is supposed to be in the 40s and low below freezing....in April....in W TX. As they say; if you don't like the weather at the moment.....wait a bit.

I'm okay with winter and not being able to go camping. This is what we do in Montana from Dec. to May.
