Water Heater Died!!

Hi y’all!! We have a 2021 Keystone Cougar 316rls and we’re boondocking just outside of Valley of Fire. We got here on Sunday and the water heater worked great. It started raining and got really windy last night and rained all day today. Now the water heater won’t heat up. We had it on gas, turned on the generator and switched to electric, then switched it back to gas a bit later and it’s still not working. We heard it click on earlier, but it’s not clicking on at all now. Any ideas??

Make/model of water heater? Does it work on electric?

It has the electric option, but to be honest, I don’t know if we’ve ever tried it.
It’s a Suburban SW6DE so realistically, it should run on electric as well

Boondocking? What are you doing to keep the batteries charged? The unit won't work if your batteries aren't charged. Turning the generator on for a couple of minutes to try it out on AC might not work if the batteries are dead.

We also have Solar so we’re good. We haven’t had much sun today so the generator has been running a lot. Hubby just found a reset button so fingers crossed ����
