Satellite cable??

So, took a picture of this short cable at tv connections. It has a switch with a green light that’s on. What is it for? I think it’s for some kind of satellite antenna but we don’t have a satellite. Does this green light need to be on?

I believe that light is for the over the air antenna booster. If you are plugged into the campground coax cable turn the booster off. If you are trying to pick up a tv signal over the air turn it on.

Just confirming, green light is for the signal booster for the over the air antenna. It needs to be off for cable or satellite.
