Hello from Southern California

Hello everyone

My wife and I just bought our first travel trailer. Its a new 2017 24RBSWE Cougar Half Ton TT. So new we haven't taken it out yet, though we hope to do that soon.

By the way... is the 24RBSWE a new model, as in 2017 is it's first year? When I search, I find nothing on it. But I do find a 21RBSWE. At the Keystone web site, there is a 24RBS(not WE: western edition), as if it doesn't exist.

Any thoughts on that? Are there any western edition owners here?

Just curious

Mike

Hey Mike,
,,
As if no one read your post, Ha Some times, and welcome to the group, sometimes the manufacturers will just put on labels to throw you off, but I have a passport 22RBWE with a slide , made in Pendelton, Oregon. and is most likely one of the ODD Balls that come along.?

We travel quite abit and ours is a 2011, holding up great and the only thing that you may want to watch for is tire wear, as the axles are not the strongest in the bunch,,, depending of course which ones you have. Real rough roads and curbs are not good..

Take care and enjoy, get up to Joshua Tree and spend a few nights, or take a trip up to Hensley Lake , just above Fresno, about 35 miles NE. Great lake and beautiful views.

Cheers and Merry Christmas
Chuck from Oregon , currently in AZ,,, Sunshine

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
Your Cougar is the replacement for the 24KRSWE. I believe this model (24RKSWE) was discontinued in 2016.
Enjoy making memories.

Drydays

Sorry I missed your post. Thanks for the suggested destinations, I'll look into those. We took a shake down cruise to Quartzsite, AZ and stayed for 6 days. We had a great time and everything on the trailer worked great. With any luck, we'll be full-timing it by the end of March.

Thanks again
Mike
