First TT Passpot 2670BH
I am new to this forum. I am getting my first TT, a brand new 2016 Passport 2670BH Thursday and I am very excited about it. I had read a lot about the Passports. I do lots of tents camping with the family in Texas. I love the outdoors. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and traveling.

Welcome to the forum
Congrats on your first RV, after tent camping, your going to love the "luxury" that a self contained unit has. Lots of great people and tons of excellent information.

Welcome to the forum! I live just down the road from you a piece. I got my first trailer this year as well, a Passport, and we've been thoroughly enjoying it.

You'll find that it's almost impossible to use the bathroom without opening the slide out, because the bathroom door is blocked from opening by the slide out. To overcome this ..... so we can use the bathroom on the side of the highway without putting the slide out into traffic ..... we put a screw under the mattress on the bottom bunk and used a string with a loop to go over the door knob. This allows us to travel with the bathroom door opened. And the string secures it so the door isn't banging around while moving.

That's one thing I love about our 2890rl, it is completely functional with the slide out in. The only thing that's not accessible is one chair in the back, and you can't see the tv but we are putting one in the bedroom. I really like the ability to use the trailer without having to run the slide out in case we want to pull over somewhere and just get a few hours sleep.
