plumbing leaks

Having a small problem with leaking waterlines. Haved fixed 2 leaks in the 1/2 in. waterlines accessible by removing the bulkhead. This morning I hooked up the back flush and seems like the line blew apart. Water sprayed all over the place as if a connection had come apart. We are on the road home and will wait until we get there to unload and remove bulkhead again. Anybody else having those problems? Thks...Al

Al, what camper do you have? I assume you winterized and did all the proper things to prevent freezing of the lines. I did here of one other member who had a leak at the tank flush, but not a blow out.

Water Leaks

I assume you are ALWAYS using a water pressure regulator? RV's are not made to withstand the water pressure found in lots of places. I've read most RV plumbing is rated around 45 psi. In our travels we've seen over 100 psi, rarely thank goodness.

Memories....

Man, I can relate to the water leaks.... Our last TT, EVERY SINGLE darn fitting leaked... I ended up taking the stove out, removing this and that until I found every leak. As it came out, Rvision was going through problems at the time and I think they either did this on purpose or had just got that bad with Q.C. Anyway, just happy our new unit does not seem to have any fitting leaks!
