Removing Battery Box Cover and Battery
I'm wondering if there is anything special to removing the box cover and then the battery. The wires on top of the box make me think there is a special process for removing the terminal wires once inside. I haven't attempted to open it yet as I wanted to make sure there were no surprises. Thank you.

Nothing different than when you unhook a battery from a car or truck. Disconnect the ground first (black wire) and the hot (red wire) second. Make sure the black doesn't make contact with anything metal and ground out again when disconnecting the black. This is to ensure you don't arch the battery and possibly damage it.
The ONLY difference with an RV is, you really need to disconnect from shore power (AC plugged into an RV outlet). Why? Because if you are plugged in, power is going through your converter and making a negative cable (ground). Always disconnect shore power, unplug the trailer completely, and then you are really safe to disconnect the battery cables -- black first.
When reconnecting, black last.

So, is there anything connecting the battery to the battery box that would prevent me from lifting the battery box top off of the the battery?

The battery box is usually secured to the frame brackets below it, so the battery would have to be removed first.
You may verify this by looking at the bottom of those two brackets and determine if there are bolts passing thru.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I don’t need to remove the whole box, just the battery, but, in order to do that I need to remove the lid. How do I do that? Is the lid connected to the battery somehow? Thank you.

Put the key in, turn it and then lift off the lock bar. Now take the cover off.

There are also about 8 screws that need to come off. So once that’s done the cover should lift off along with those wires?

Do you know I have to disconnect the ones in the lid to disconnect the ones on the battery? Or is there enough slack on the inside wires to lift the lid and disconnect from battery?

That is the lithium box. Disconnect the top cables, unlock the lock, then there are 8 screws.

Congratulations. I think you're the first responder who actually understood what the OP was asking!
(For sure I've never before seen a battery box with the cable connections on the outside, instead of sneaking under the lip!)

Although this is not the "same" battery box you have, it is "essentially configured the same"...
You can see that inside, there are cables, long enough to remove the lid and access the connections on the actual battery terminals. Just remove the screws to allow the top cover to be lifted up and to the side, then reach inside and disconnect the battery connectors on the battery.
REMOVE THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE/TERMINAL FIRST !!!!!
