cable entry on 2011 bullet 278RLS

hi, we have a 2011 bullet 278 RLS ,the cable connection seems to come in from the back left hand side near the middle of the window ...is the cable connection automatically sent to the t.v set or do I need to take the antenna booster and turn it off. also we have a connection in the bedroom on the wall(no t.v hooked up) I am guessing the signal would be sent there as well?? any info about your t.v/ cable hook up would be great ...thanks in advance

You will need to turn your booster off when hooked to cable. The power should be at all wall plates.

thanks for your help...if I were to hook up a satellite dish to the input side (outside of the trailer) and the receiver side hooked up before the t.v (from the booster connection with the booster turned off )would the t.v set be able to receive signals since I am just using the cable for distribution of the signal ?

I have never tried it , but I think you will have to use a A B switch to switch between what cable you want to use.

Satellite signal over OEM cable

My dealer just told me that I must install a separate coax for my DirecTV box. The existing wiring in my Bullet won't pass satellite signals. Something about a filter or something.

Some trailers have 2 sets of wires with connectors outsode, one for cable and one for satellite. I do not think Bullets have the 2nd set. Might have to check with your satellite vendor. As far as cable, like others said, booster off and all connections inside show work. Once in a great while there is a loose connection somewhere that might need to be tightened.

Cable/Sat/Antenna Coax Rewire

Check out my earlier post on rewiring your coax to get satellite signals throughout your TT/5er. It does in fact work.
