Looking for FL Campground

A couple weeks ago some posted that they were headed for/camping at a campground in central FL. I looked up that campground at the time, but now I can't seem to find that campground or that post. Looked like a decent campground, privately owned, reasonably priced for longer term stays.

Can someone help and point me in the right direction.

TIA

You might also consider the Orange County Public Parks. We have camped at the Magnolia Park campground; relatively convenient to Orlando/Winter Park and the other big attractions.

If you need a break from theme parks and condos, try the Cedar Key RV Resort. It is a very nice campground in an area that can be described as old Florida.

Grumpy - what are you looking for in your trip? Access to all the tourist attractions and lots of amenities at your campground or just get away from the cold to a nice quiet, pretty place? The more toward central and south FL you go the more the latter disappears (quiet/uncrowded).

Florida is loaded with campgrounds & RV parks. You need to narrow down your search request. Central could mean St. Petersburg - west coast - or Winter Haven - middle of state - or Palm Bay - east coast.

If it is the post I am remembering they are staying at The Great Outdoors in Titusville FL.

Yeah, I've been there, love Cedar Key. I'm especially fond of Low Key Hideaway... complete with Tiki Bay and no minors on property.
