Hard to see any real difference.

At that low temp I'd guess on low gas pressure/flow rate. I've used my propane smoker in very low temps and had to put the lp tank in a plastic container with hot water in it to get it to work properly. The appliances use the lp gas and the tank stores that gas in a liquid state. The liquid lp must vaporize to go from liquid to gas and the colder the temperature the slower that reaction happens. To compound the issue this reaction is endothermic which is is soaks up energy (heat) so it makes the tank even colder. You may have seen this on a gas grill when using a lot of gas and the tank contents get used up ice will form on the outside of the tank.

Water heater flame will depend on how much air is being drawn and on some models can be adjusted. I would try to warm the propane cylinder, wrap it in a blanket and try again.
I have to say, I don’t deal with temps this low, so I’m just guessing.

If it was me, I'd bet that you need to warm up the tank to get better flow. When you start any propane gas in the tank, flows and things light. But since it is a very limited amount due to the temps, the flame flickers and/or goes out. I think you're wasting your time trouble shooting until you eliminate the temperature issue.

Here's how I would approach this. You have 3 lpg appliances malfunctioning. What are the odds 3 things would go wrong at once? The common factor here is the gas supply. Now if it worked before then what's changed? From the way I read this the only difference is the outside air temps have dropped substantially. So following that logic, there are possibly 3 things in that chain. The tank(s), the changeover valve (if so equipped) and the regulator. From my experience and from reading many similar posts on this forum the most common culprit is the tank, and secondly is the regulator. The changeover valve would be a distant third.
Let us know what you find as it will help us all. Lot's of folks read and follow these posts even though they may not respond so you could be helping others by reporting your experience and resolution.
Thanks and keep asking questions. Good luck

I honestly wouldn’t know if it was working properly as I just purchased this camper and am starting to go through the whole thing. But I went out this morning turned on the gas and the temperature is only 4 outside this morning the heater ran flawlessly until I shut it off to come back inside. So I’m assuming that when I first started this yesterday there was air in the tank that’s my only thought the only thing I have not tried on propane now is the fridge

And I did replace the changeover valve and regulator yesterday because that was my first initial thought that, that was my issue however I didn’t post about that because nothing changed after the swap

Thanks for letting us know. Hope it stays working for you. The only thing I can think that makes sense is the valve on the lp tank. They have a shutoff that senses a leak and shuts the gas off. That's why you must open them very slowly, and why I suggested loosening the gas line and bleeding it. I've read where these valves can stick to the point of requiring replacement.

I doubt it’s the tank valve. My last fiver sat in the back yard for 5 yrs while we took care of the wife’s mother, No problems.

I’m glad someone mentioned the water heater I went out to pull the plug and make sure the guy drained it, he did not and somehow the tank did not split it’s a block of ice minus what is draining out from the heater being on now no antifreeze what so ever what else should I be extremely concerned about with no winterization
