Dometic Thermostat issue

We just bought a new Cougar 34 Tsb and the digital Thermostat Sucks! Anyone have issues with the digital thermostat? If so which one did you switch too?

Had to reset ours almost immediately after we got the trailer, no problems since then. Sorry I don't remember which buttons to push at the same time to accomplish the reset, check the thermostat's manual for instructions.

You're correct - the digital thermostat is very quirky, and I periodically see it resetting the temperature to 90 degrees all by itself. It definitely takes some getting used to how much/little pressure to apply to the touch pad. It's on my list to replace in next Spring.

Just my Dometic thermostat new face plates . Mine did not want to work sometimes. Got ahold of Dometic and they sent me 2 new ones at no cost.

I have the dometic one and it goes to 90 by itself. Bought a Honeywell I will be switching to soon. The dometic thermostat stinks in my opinion.

Touch thermostat

I have a 2019 Bullet, the only way I can make mine work is by taking the cover off and touching the contacts! Going back to the dealer again this week because now we have a clicking sound out of the AC when the furnace is running. The pattern is becoming clear now after our 3rd outing - Camp, take to dealer, put away.

I've found that high humidity inside the camper is usually when mine acts up.

I have the Domestic ten button two zone model and it has taken me awhile to figure out why the programed scheduled zones don't work the way I program them and schedule the furnace to come on like I want in the morning. Found out if I actually SET THE CLOCK on the controller it actually works great. I have also found that if I lose power to the RV, and my battery isn't connected, the clock will zero out and the clock will need to be reset again once I have power back on the rig. I guess it's just been a learning experience with all these buttons to push.
