Thanks for letting us know. Hope it stays working for you. The only thing I can think that makes sense is the valve on the lp tank. They have a shutoff that senses a leak and shuts the gas off. That's why you must open them very slowly, and why I suggested loosening the gas line and bleeding it. I've read where these valves can stick to the point of requiring replacement.

I have heard that as well and especially after sitting for 2+ years the guy I bought it from didn’t even realize it had propane in it he thought it was empty till I asked him when the last time he did anything with the gas system

I doubt itís the tank valve. My last fiver sat in the back yard for 5 yrs while we took care of the wifeís mother, No problems.

I’m glad someone mentioned the water heater I went out to pull the plug and make sure the guy drained it, he did not and somehow the tank did not split it’s a block of ice minus what is draining out from the heater being on now no antifreeze what so ever what else should I be extremely concerned about with no winterization
