We don't have an outdoor kitchen, but our outdoor shower is at the back of the trailer on the curb side (next to the grill stand), so it makes for a great water source in our "makeshift" outdoor kitchen. We have an aluminum table that we place under the shower door, two plastic dishpans and we're "in business". If we're in a place that's "hot" the ice chest with adult beverages goes under the table, otherwise, we just go inside to get refreshments from the refrigerator.

I saw this mod on another forum and did my version. Haven't used it in 4 1/2 years.

Back to the hose, we have an old blue roll up Toro hose that we carry to use for the black tank flush. Have had this about 25 years, used it with the pop up. Once rolled in it's holder it does not take up much space.

I purchased an expandable hose at Big Lots a year ago. It was cheap and lasted about a year. Yesterday I pitched it after flushing my black tank. It started to leak near the connection point. It didn't burst during my use. I might try one with brass fittings, as this one was plastic.

Update...still using it. Love it. If it blows, I'll definitely buy another.
