Another issue...am I wrong? I learned to level the trailer, put the jacks down, THEN open the slide. Never heard of opening the slide first. I really don't want to be crawling under the slide to put the leveling blocks and chocks under those wheels? Do most of you put the slide out first?

According to the owner's manual, level the RV side to side, then level front to back, then lower the stabilizer jacks, then open the slide.

Yep, slide after leveling and stabilizer jacks. You might have tighten down the jacks again on 1 side after putting out the slide depending on your rig.

Some people report that their trailer will lean when they run the slides out. That is, they level the trailer, run the slides out, then the trailer is no longer level.
That may be where the idea of putting the slides out and then leveling comes from.
Does not seem like a good idea to me.

Yes, that is my problem. On our last trip, my son and I messed around with it and finally decided to place the trailer so that it is slightly leaning toward starboard (all our slides on the port side), about half the width of the bubble, then crank down the stabilizer jacks on the side of the slides, let the slides out, and finally let down the jacks on the non-slide side. It was spot on.

I like a slight lean towards the slide side. Helps any rain water roll away from the camper instead of towards it. I level and stabilize then extend the slide. I then tighten the off side jacks. This gives me just a hair off plumb on the bubble level and allows for that mild run off angle.
