Help that A/C get running!

Interesting gizmo... the start up draw of an A/C puts a load on the amperage of a camper that often causes a main fuse pop if other stuff is already running; especially running on a small generator. This gizmo is supposed to make start up easier and not as big peak draw. Thoughts?

I've installed one on my 15k BTU Dometic and it allows it to start off of my old Honda 2000 watt generator. So yes it works. It also makes the startup nice and easy when you're on shore power. I don't get that wump sound when the compressor kicks in now.
