Screw pop

Hello,

I have a Bullet 2200BH that just finished its second season. We bought it brand new. The issue I discovered while doing my final clean for the season. I have a mounting bolt or screw pop right in the middle of my floor. It has not ripped through the floor yet but will. Has anyone encountered this and what was your solution.

The classic repair is an X-cut with a very sharp knife through the flexible floor covering, address the pop with glue and re-screw, then a reliable flooring glue under the cut edges.

Depending on the location of the screw that's backing out, it may be better (more permanent) to simply make that "X", remove the screw, fill the hole with putty or wood filler and then reseal the vinyl floor covering with a "seam sealer". That way, there's no chance it will back out again.

I had the same issue on my 2018 Cougar 367FLS. Got Keystone to cover repairs under the 3 Year structure warranty
