Brand new owner from Florida
Awaiting a May delivery date on my brand new, not yet constructed half ton Cougar 32 DBH. My tow vehicle is a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD 6.6 Duramax diesel with the Allison transmission and 6.5 foot bed. Will have a pullrite superglide 16K 5th wheel hitch installed just before delivery of the camper.
As for me, retired after 35 years in law enforcement (and darned proud of it), also had another 19 years adjunct instructing at a local college, worked part time with the security department of Major League Baseball, graduate of the FBI National Police Academy. Still married to my child bride after 48 years, one daughter w/son in law who likes to camp with us.
I still enjoy motorcycling, scuba diving (I am a certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer) and obviously...camping.
Life is great...looking forward to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to find answers about your rig. There are literally hundreds of years camping experience in this forum. I am fairly new here as well but have read many posts that will keep me from learning things the hard way. Enjoy the forum and happy camping!

Welcome to the forum! And, thanks for your years of serving you community.
Learning this forum is pretty simple. As a new RVer, I've had to ask several questions and the group has come through with flying colors on all counts. I would recommend a pocket recorder when you take your delivery walk through. Plan plenty of time and ask lots of questions. Learn the safety requirements of towing and enjoy going all the places you have wanted to go. Welcome!
