We just purchased a 2017 Outback 298RE (we are experienced rver's, went from pop up tent trailer to 20 ft Dutchman and now this). Will be pulling it with a 2008 Toyota Tundra. Took a test trip the day we picked it up. Absolutely love all the features. One issue we are having is how to adjust the volumn on the outside speaker. Hope someone in the forum has suggestions. We take our first long trip in a week to Cape Kiwanda (Pacific City) on the Oregon coast. We live on Whidbey Island in Washington State...We are Mike and Elaine

Welcome to the forum from upstate NY. Our son was stationed at the navy air station on Whidbey Island. We stayed at the RV park on the island when we visited him.

Looks like you trailer has 2 sets of speakers, inside and outside. Can you describe exactly what the current behavior is? ie. if you turn up the volume so you can hear the inside speakers, can you also hear the outside speakers at all, or not?

Just googled the speaker issue and found the help we were looking for. Now we have control over the outside speaker also. This forum is great and has given us lots of answers to things we didn't know. Just got back from a week at Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City on the Oregon coast. A great trip with great weather....Happy Camping...Elaine
