Keystone Value and Information
I have a 293i which I cannot find any information on it or the value. If anyone could please help me I would appreciate it. It belonged to my mother and step father. He passed away and she is 81 and doesn't know anything about it. What do the numbers and letters mean?

If you'd provide as much information as you have, year, brand, model, condition of the RV you may get some advice on value. You can also do an internet search for the RV. Usually, there are several listed for sale. Seeing the value of those RV's and comparing the condition might help you get a rough estimate of the value. Alternatively, you can go to NADA.com and look up the national averages on their website. It's similar to the "average retail/wholesale values they give for automobiles.

This spring when we were looking at park models they would go to the NADA book for trade in values. If the condition matched the age all was good..

This link may, or may not help depending on the age, and condition of the trailer...

If it to your advantage, you might consider donating it to a charity for the tax right-off.
Good Luck,

Value
2002 keystone Everest 293i is the year, make and model.its in excellent condition and through the nada, it isn't listed. I searched through many dealer sites and it doesn't show up as well. It was their home when the good Sam's would go camping. Once I got their belongings out , I was amazed at the shape its in.the 293i doesn't show up anywhere I have looked.I googled it with no luck either. As for donating it, the fond memories of my children and parents camping (even in the winter) and the shape its in would be foolish of me. Thanks for the suggestions but nothing so far.

Master, (I don't really like addressing someone as "Master"), here is a place to start:
https://www.rvtrader.com/Ossipee-200...istance%3Aasc&
Ten grand for a 17 year old RV that listed for about 44K is a lot. It better be immaculate with new tires!

NADA book value for a trailer that old is kind of a waste of time. There are not enough examples of a specific 16 year old trailer selling currently to get a good idea. If you trade it in, you are looking $4-5K perhaps and if you sell it outright on CL or such, perhaps $6-7K TOPS. Condition is everything but even if it is great condition, a 2002 trailer will need lots of TLC as the roof, water heater, refrigerator and such may be at the end of its life. Don't go by dealer prices as they are usually asking a lot more than they will get for real old stock. Last, your RV has a gross vehicle weight of almost 13K lbs... your 250 handles this much OK? Seems like a trailer that size would be a lot of work for a 3/4 ton... I have an F250 and looked for a 5ver with less weight specifically for that reason.

Thanks for the input WiredGeorge
Everything mentioned roof being the last thing replaced. They had a newer model but they much preferred the floor plan of this one. They sold the newer model for less than this one for the quick sale. I will just say the value was much higher on it. My stepfather was very OCD on the shape of anything he owned. The one on the link was very similar to this one. He did do away with the 2 recliners because he was way to big and tall to sit comfortably in them. I have slept in it in extreme heat and cold and was comfortable. Does anyone have any idea what model numbers and letters stand for? I would keep it for myself, and I still might but after the adoption I (at 55 years old)have 5 children 5 to 16.I welcome any input good or bad. Thanks to all for the information.

F250 powerstroke
My powerstroke f250 4x4 hardly notices the fifth wheel behind it. I have heard some say I need a 1 ton and/or a dually for the heavy load but.....the only time I notice it is when the wind is hitting from one side or the other while driving into the wind isn't near as bad as from the sides. As a new member here, I have seen alot of great information from reading different threads as well as the help in this thread. I want to throw another big THANK YOU to everyone helping me out now and in the future as I know I will need more. 😀

The model numbers are more or less arbitrary. The number sometimes is a very approximate reflection of the length but you can't rely on that. The letters sometimes mean something for specific models... such as my trailer is a 278 and happens to be 27' and the letters on my model are EFS. Not sure what the E and F could possibly refer to but the S may be because the trailer has a slide. We have a rear kitchen and on some makes/models this is RK or RKS if there is a slide. An FLS may be front living room with a slide. You really can't tell for sure much about a trailer based on the numbers except if you see two trailers in a certain family and one is a 123 and the other a 223, the larger number almost always means longer. One last observation... trailers keep getting bigger and heavier as the years go on making bigger and more powerful trucks a necessity!

Tax laws have changed and much of the charitable contributions have been eliminated except for businesses.

I NEVER use any national average listing "authority." You can get, for your unit, what someone else is willing to pay you for it. Look at RV sale sites. Find units that look similar to yours, in layout and features. Get a range of prices. I sold my RV, that I had for ten years, for less than two thousand off what I paid for it, originally. The RV places I went to, beforehand, flashed the NADA at me and pronounced that it was only worth $3G's. I got about $6G's for it. Get what you can! Good luck.

I just wanted to thank you for the helpful information and putting me in the right direction. Also I want to let you know why I use the master32 name. I went through the process in the Scottish rite Mason's and there are 32 degrees in the initial joining of them. It's not to make any of the people I talk to feel like I am being superior to them. I am sorry for you feeling that way but I have used the same moniker in several other places as it uses the correct amount of digits for minimum some sites required so I have used it here. Thanks for your willingness to help me out anyway and you can address me as anything you want. I am used to ******* from friends if you want to call me that.

Douglas, it was just a little tongue-in-cheek comment. Usually I look to see if there is a first name to be used to address someone.

I figured that was the case. Thanks for understanding. I can't find any info on my mom's keystone Everest. I do know it has 3 slideouts, its an 02 and a 293i but that's about it. Any information is welcome. She wishes to sell it but we both have no idea on length. I would measure it if I knew where to take accurate measurements from.😟

All the information regarding length, weight, average value, etc is listed on the NADA site. http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2002/K...4032448/Values
You can use GOOGLE https://www.google.com/ to find more information by searching for "2002 Everest 293i" or "2002 Everest 293i specifications" or "2002 Everest 293i floorplan"
I did a "forum search" for 293i and found that there are no active members (other than you) who have posted that they own that model RV.
