You'd think so, eh? Ford programmed an "overly clever" brake controller, and the dealer can't change the software to get it to recognize TTs outside their chosen parameters.

I live in a tiny cowboy town with one dealer, and they've already seen it personally at least twice that I know of, and have heard of a lot of instances elsewhere. Lots of other people are seeing it, too.

Added some LED step lights. Don’t cut into the top step!!! Don’t ask me how I know. I will have to order some new carpet now but I flipped the top and am hiding it pretty well right now.
Switch is close enough to the door that they can be turned on from outside and the deco switch can be turned on and off by foot.
Now to get the strip done outside...

New faucet and back splashes
I finally got around to replacing the plastic faucet and the back splashes on both the bathroom counter and around the stove area. The DW said she will love how easy the cleanup will be in the future. It definitely classed up the area.
Does anyone else feel like working on the RV can become an addiction? I feel like if I'm not working on something I get a little stir crazy. Just sayin...

I finally got away from the Maypops! New set of Endurance LRE's and a set of T-105 batteries. Our last outing was an expensive one. It cost me 4 batteries and 4 tires.

Disassembled and repaired the cargo hatch slam latch that locked up premanently when I shut it just prior to taking it to the TV dealer for brake troubleshooting. DW bravely did the "ducting crawl" from the far side to pop the striker so we could get the hatch open to remove the latch.

Replaced the 5 mm underlayment that came factory on my lower bunk bed with a piece of 3/8"plywood after my wife put her knee almost through it in April. Cut the pieces to match and sanded then down. Also finally installed the bed lift kit, nearly 1.5 years later. Finally got the right length strut. Though they still aren't quite heavy enough to hold the massive pillow top mattress I have in there, it does at least provide an assist now.

Started to pack the wheels bearings. Left side went relatively smooth but the right side had broken brake parts on both axles so to etrailer I go and order 2 complete brake assemblies.

Added some clear silicone inside the channel of the magnetic shower door lips to keep them "glued" to the door glass. Discovered four more strips with similarly inadequate friction attachments meant to seal the rear edges of those doors, and will have to get to those shortly.

For those with the electrical message problem on the new Fords, go here and therein lies the answer. Of course, if you can find it.

Replaced bad WFCO converter with Boondocker from www.bestconverter.com.
Pretty easy installation. Hardest part was getting to the screws to tighten it down.
Now my battery's charging again!

Goose Box 2nd Gen 20k delivered this afternoon. Will probably go in on Monday. Also replaced both sink faucets with Delta Windemere which are much nicer and better size/shaped. I built a "portable" enterprise grade network with wifi, switch, router, and wifi-station to connect it all to camp wifi when available. This will allow all of my devices to always only have to connect to the "internal" wifi while I can just update the wifi-station for where ever we are. Added bonus is that since I will have my own private wifi, stuff like a chromecast will work.
Also got a Splendide washer and dryer sitting on the porch waiting to be installed.

Moved the toy hauler to the driveway next to the house to prep for a week long camping trip next week.
Now that school is back in session, the campgrounds should be a bit quieter.

Gave her a full scrub down bath, since I have had her essentially in storage for the last 4 months while we relocated and got our stuff organized. Ready to take her out this weekend and 3-4 more times through October.

DW and I spent the morning in the break room at an independent RV repair shop, learning about how my TV dealer's trailer shop managed to blow grease all over all four brake assemblies two weeks ago. It was another expensive class, but last I feel like my trailer brakes are finally working. In the afternoon, I fought with my Lippert levelers, performing the reset procedure a full five times before they stopped throwing errors and crashing (hint: ensure the feet on one side are always slightly lower than the others before performing the auto-retract step). After that, I installed a strainer screen for my FloJet pump, cleaned the Keystone manufacturing grit out of the kitchen faucet, and took the flow limiter O-ring out of my showerhead. At this rate, we may actually be able to leave by Labor Day.

Someone used the EZ lube zerks to pump grease into the bearings is what happened to your brakes!!! If you paid someone to pack your bearings & this is the way they did that for you you need to demand a refund on that procedure, demand they pay for replacing the brakes & NEVER EVER use them again. Would NEVER recommend ever using the EZ lube for any reason, hand pack only!

What Danny ^^^^ said about EZ lube zerks. They cause way more problems than they cure.

Finished up the brake replacements (RH side only) and bearings (both sides). Used the etrailer assemble brake units, couldn't ask for an easier brake fix.

Out with the old in with the new
I first had the factory Rancho 5000(oem’d for Motorcraft) shocks replaced at 36,000 miles with Bilstein 5100’s. Something I’ve wanted to have done for some time but I couldn’t bring myself to replace something which seamed to be working ok.
Second, I replaced my 15 year old Air Safe 25K hitch with a Roadmaster Comfort Ride model 245. I had been having issues with air leaking from the old hitch and the new model uses air cells so I no longer have to add air. The other negative was that with air in the old hitch and when unhitched, it was not possible to close the tonneau cover so each time I prepped for a trip I had to break out the compressor and air it up. No more! I took a short pull with the RV and am very pleased so far.
