Leaking shower water valve

We have just returned from an enjoyable trip to the Oregon coast in our 2019 Cougar 22RBS. But we have to disconnect the showerhead and let the showerhead hose drain into a bucket!
How can I fix the leaking valve?

It's leaking water continuously? Were you hooked up to water or using your pump? You could always shut off the pump or turn off water temporarily to the trailer. I haven't taken one of these apart but if it's like a regular faucet inside which I predict it will be you should be able to pull the valve apart and see if it has something stuck in the seat.

It leaks when hooked to a water supply or when running off the tank.
It does not appear to be like a standard water valve but rather a cannister type. I will remove the cannister to take a look at it.

Are you talking about the valve on the shower head? Those are designed to leak by a little bit while you have the shower turned on.

When I removed the cannister, I checked the small rubber O-ring around the inlet port and it appeared to be clear. The O-ring around the cannister also looked good. I reinstalled the cannister a little tighter and I'll see if that fixes it.

No, I'm talking about the cold water valve to the shower head. I'm also going to check the hot side but I never noticed any hot water in our little catch bottle.

I bought a shut off valve from KES. No more drip or cold water blast.

The faucets in our rig were made by Dura, and I've purchased parts from rvfaucet.com . This is a link to their shower and tub faucets page, and maybe you can find your faucet and can get the parts to repair it. Once you have found the faucet, go to the replacement parts link. http://www.rvfaucet.com/tub-shower-faucets/

Thanks. I discovered my problem!
When I removed the cold water valve cartridge, I found that the water fill port was not aligned to where it should have been to the cartridge. a simple rotation of the cartridge until the ports were aligned was all it took to stop the water leak!
Thanks for your inputs!
