Stan & Sue -
to the forum. You've got a very nice combination there; and even without any photos, I know you're making a lot of members ...green with envy!

Enjoy and be safe.

So did you pick it up yet? Where'd you buy it from? I'm looking to get one myself.

Finally Camped at Chatfield Reservior, CO

My first post back in February was the purchase of the Fuzion 371 from Windish in Lakewood, CO. I couldn't pick it up until I had my truck which was a month out. Then we had to wait for better weather.

We finally camped one night at Chatfield State Park. Wow that was a learning curve. Yes we did do a walk though and take notes but still you miss some things. Also, I am a handy man and I fixed a few things that was not working right. Such as, the water line was cross threaded and leaking in our storage area. Bracket for the back step is on backwards. I am trying to decide if I am going to replace the 2nd black tank adapter sensor or wait a very long time for service at Windish. It always shows the 2nd black tank full. We never used the 2nd tank.

I really wish I could have shown off my trailer but it was "Hit and Run" while parked in storage. Only one camera and I am waiting to hear if my 5r was visible. First estimate in is $3000. My deductible is $1000.  I cut down some trees, modified my side fence and made other adjustments to park in my back yard. No more storage.

My wife and I was very busy planning, loading, de-winterizing, sanitizing and whatever else that we were actually very exhausted by the time we arrived.

We are very excited to go again in a couple of weeks. We have five short trips to figure everything out before we are gone for two months heading to the east coast. 

All in all, still great to get out!

Here is a pic

wait ... what? "Your" trailer was parked on "their" lot and got hit, and YOU are paying the deductable? That doesn't sound right ...

Congrats! You might try filling and flushing the tank in case there's any debris on one of the sensors.

Where was your trailer stored when it was hit?

I found out in another forum post that there is a second handle to the 2nd black tank. Forum Post. It is stored underneath the kitchen slide out. Also, it was caked in mud so with it being dark underneath there, you can't even see it.

I even called Windish and asked but they sent me a picture of only the MAIN valves in the water fill up area. This forum is excellent to figure stuff out!

AARV Storage in Erie, CO. is where the accident happened. No longer storing there.

Welcome to the forum.

Very nice rig. Chatfield was a good choice for a shakedown trip. where else do you plan to go in Colorado?
I bought my unit at Windish as well but I will not use the service dept ever again. I go to Trailer Source at 44th and Tabor.

Nice mod work on your rig.

This weekend Mueller State Park. Other trips in CO - Fountain KOA for the Spartan Race, Chatfield and Eleven Mile. We will make one Layton, UT trip for our daughters graduation.

Starting in July we are heading east coast and coming back - KS, KY, VA, NC, FL, AR, NM and then CO.

There is a possible west coast travel but we have not planned that yet. We did not buy the Fuzion for a yard decoration. We are not full timers but we will use the 5r extensively.

Good for you Stanomatic, we don't own any yard décor either.
