Slide out

Got 2018 Cougar rli went to put all 3 slides in had no power to them lights in camper worked checked breakers out side by battery unplugged ac power then plugged back in started working only thing I could figure out a loose connection

I would check your batteries if I were you. Most slide-out systems should be able to extend and retract slides without shore power (AC). And do you have two batteries or one? Most battery boxes for 5th wheels and trailers are setup to hold two 12V batteries run in parallel, and that’s what I would recommend for any 12V system.

I’d rec9mmend when you get to remove battery cables, clean the ends and clean terminal post on batteries.. I’d also .... with battery disconnected remove DC lead coming from battery to resettable breaker for that slide , clean, and secure.. might save issues down the road

Being a 2018 hopefully rust/corrosion aren't big players in the picture (they may be). I would look for a loose connection in the battery feed. The other thing I would check is the battery; it may be a 2018 but there is no telling what kind of battery was installed on it at the dealer; water levels etc. If it doesn't have it, I would install the 2nd 12v battery "just because".
