Camping World sells a blind cord repair kit that included easy to read instructions.

I replaced my 6' blind cord with the kit and "it still works". It helps to have another set of hands with the replacement.

Good luck ..... Don

I have re-threaded several of mine. Like theallde stated extra help is a plus, especially the larger blinds. I had no intention of doing mine more than once so I purchased 300# braided fishing line from a Sporting goods store. Make sure it is the "braided" style as it is very flexible.

This video I found is very helpful....

There has to be a sharp edge at the top where the cord goes through shredding the cord More BS. I agree heavy beaded fishing line maybe a better cord.
