Changing Brands

Well, the DW and I are here in Tucson waiting for our new Laredo to cycle through the shop for dealer prep. We are scheduled to do the PDI on Wednesday. Decided to trade our Cougar in on a 298 SRL. Hate to admit it, but we are excited like two kids at Christmas! Pictures to follow.

Hopefully we all know the excitement you're feeling. It's fun just shopping for one knowing you're really going to make the trade. (You'll notice I didn't mention the two days worth of work swapping all your goodies from one to another? . . . . .oops, sorry!)

Well, our PDI went well - a couple of items that were easily remedied. The tech taking us through our walk - through was very knowledgeable. Good thing because I knew nothing about the auto leveling. He was very thorough and patient with my many questions. We got to spend a total of 7 days in our new camper on the way home and, so far, everything is coming up roses. Oh, the tanks were mis-labeled. The DW loves her larger galley. I really like the auto level. Life is good.

Why Tuscon? Did you pick it up at factory or something?

7 days from Tuscon to San Joaquin Valley - you travel like we do!

We stopped in Tucson on the way home from Big Bend NP. Went to LA Mesa RV to look at a floor plan the DW was interested in. The deal was too good to pass up.
