New tail lights
The stock brake/turn/tail lights on my 405 always looked like they were too low. I found these on ebay and installed them last week.

I think the LED lights are the safest and only way to go. The taillights that have been used for ever should be outlawed. My 2 cents.

Looks nice did you just splice them into the stock lights?
Also you have a link on were you got them.

The lights KenBob posted are the ones I used.
I spliced the wires directly to the stock tail lights.

The only problem with LED lights is they get covered with snow. So if you travel in the white stuff make sure you go back there and wipe them off. Or at least use a good wax on them so they will shed the snow.

+1 on the snow. I have all LED EXCEPT tailights because they will not stay clean and do not make any heat to melt off snow build up.

I love this idea! I'm fairly handy but if someone wouldn't mind posting a little how to it would be much appreciated!!! I'm hesitant drilling into my new toy hauler and cutting/splicing wires.

How did you feed the wires down to the existing taillights?
