Not an escalator, but there is a handicap lift on the market for rvs that attaches at the doorway.
As for the 10" of snow in Lubbock, with the usual winds in that area 10" made for some serious drifts, probably 2-3 stories high on the south side of everything.
Plus with cooler than normal temps all across the country so far this winter global warming would be a hard sell for most folks.
