Alaska State Fair Palmer

Any one camp here during the fair? Looking for expiriences and advice.
Planing on heading up Friday afternoon and staying the weekend. Going back to the trailer to retire for the night and not fighting traffic in the dark seems to be the better option. It will be the first time taking the Tumbleweed out there.
I think we can deal with 0900 Check out time and no outdoor cooking or fires. The spaces seem a little narrow (16') and I would like to fully extend the awning so I am gonna look into paying for 2 adjacent spaces.

That is the back corner of the south lot where NIT trains with their students. They move out during the fair time. The area should be fairly level. As for the extra spots...Check your width with the awning out. Also remember that it does get unexpectedly windy in the Valley. I do not recommend leaving the awning out unless present. As for the crowd that camps there I know nothing about.

I will be out there today working and I will see how much water is in that corner and maybe get a picture of the camping spots for you.

I forgot my phone so no pictures...but there was not to many puddles on the main RV parking lot. Good luck on getting two spaces together especially for a weekend.
