Another "NORCOLD" Question

OK fellas here's a different one, working on a Norcold model #N512UL. Runs on elec just fine, go to fire it up on gas & it will fire up but never hold the flame. It does continue to "snap" or try to ignite while the burner is on and doesn't stop till the gas valve closes & unit goes into fauler. ( I know this by the F on the display on the fridge) OK now being kinda old school I start lookin for the thermocouple... nope. So what is controlling the gas valve after the unit "is" fired up. Or am looking in the wrong direction ? Is there a temp sensor in the stack that controls the gas valve?

As always thanks for the help!

More often than not the sparker is also the "flame sensor" if its not in the flame or is faulty the gas valve will close.

I don’t believe so. We have had some limited success taking it out, wiping it down with WD-40 and re installing.

OK so I pulled the ignitor / sensor & cleaned as you had said, assuring the gap is within the spec. Same results. Can I assume that the sensor / ignitor line is bad?
