My first thought would be what are the the unit and tongue weights, and tow capacity, along with max tongue weight allowed. Others here will be able to give you all the advice you will need. Hope that all works out on the purchase of the camper.

Laker666,

to the foroum and to the Keystone family. Your concern with making sure your tow vehicle and trailer are a well matched pair is prudent. Safety in towing is the first priority.

I recently did an in-depth analysis in another thread concerning a Tacoma and a Keystone RV. You can red it here: http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9471

Although your situation is quite different, the basic analysis is the same. Read that thread, look at the analysis of that truck and trailer combination and compare it to your situation. Plug in your numbers rather than the Tacoma numbers and you should find much (if not all) the information you need to make an informed decision about your tow vehicle and that trailer.

Again, welcome to the forum and good luck with your future RV choices.

please note: This response has been reposted in the towing section where Laker666 also asked the question. Please respond to any towing comments there so all the answers are located together. Thanks
