New Keystone owner

Just couldn't pass up an opportunity to pick up a 2012 Raptor 410lev. A couple years ahead of schedule but lots of time to find a truck now.
Lots to learn about these trailers and looking forward to pick up some interesting tricks of the trade from the experienc d folks.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer! Lots of good folks and info here. Keep in mind that they trailer you bought will require a substantial tow vehicle.

Patrice, what Sourdough was hinting on (without being yelled at for being weight police) is your need for a dually pickup for towing. Your Raptor will probably be in the 1500 Kg or better. Only your stripped down models of the big three SRW would come in inside the envelope. Nothing like a nice late-model dually to keep things above board.
By the way, nice rig! We are big Raptor fans!

Thanks fellows. A 350 dually is pretty much the advice I've received to properly pull this beast. Will have to give her a close look around especially the tires. From looking on the forum posts, looks like changing the original tires is strongly recommended. I take it they would be prone to blowouts??

Yes, prone to blowouts. Not balanced from the factory. Some may argue that blowouts are from improper monitoring / inflation / overloading, but I replaced the factory tires immediately. Replacements weighed amost 30 lbs more than the factory tires, so there was a significant build difference.

Blowouts typically deal big damage to trailers.

The 410 LEV is a unique model of the Raptor Line, giving you more living space without extending the size of the garage and adding a second bathroom, ie that extended length devoted entirely to the living area. At one time this model was hard to find.

At near 42 feet you got a big fella back there. You are definitely in dually range Enjoy and Again welcome to the Raptor family
