Great looking site

Hello from the flat lands of Kansas.SHMBO and i just bought a 2008 Outback.31 footer.Model 26RBS,I think.Pulling it with a new Dodge Ram 1500.Not our first, but it has been several years since we have camped. We had a 26' 1976 Gladding Del Ray fifth wheel.
We have both just retired(I'm still working part time).Looking to do some traveling and with the price of motels we decided to go rving again.I was kidding her about stay at the local Walmart parking lot,but I see that's a pretty common place to park and go see things.Again, nice site and hope to help with what I can here too.Dave

Actually, if you do have a short stay at Walmart or any other place like a truck or rest stop, you are not permitted to unhook and go sightseeing or shopping. If some emergency or other problem came up and your TT or 5th wheel had to be moved in a hurry and you weren't around to move, then you might find yourself in "trouble".

Yes, people do stay at Walmart but you shouldn't see a TT or 5th wheel sitting there without a TV attached.

And welcome to the forum. Nice to see that you have decided to get back into RVing once again and we are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
