TV pivot broken

Just pulled my Laredo out of storage last Thursday. Got it home and found part of a wooden dowel laying on the floor. After some looking around, I realized the TV and frame were leaning forward. The dowel was part of the top pivot point for the TV frame. Just another sign of the cheap products used in campers. I managed to get the TV out tonight and replaced the wooden dowel with a metal dowel rod. Has anyone had this issue? My camper is only four years old.
