filling dual fresh water tanks

anyone else have a pain in the butt time filling up thier toyhauler with dual tanks?? i thought mine was fine, tanks read full when i got done filling, but in reallity(i cut a section of coroplast out so i could see it filling) it was only filling the front tank with the sensors because the line that comes down from the fill has a "T" in it to fill both tanks, the front tank was on the straight side of the "T" so it got all the water and the rear tank got maybe 1" when the front tank was full. so it would spit water out the vent and make me think they were both full. so i reversed the "T" so it fills the rear tank first and now i let it spit water out the vent for about 5-8 min then pull the hose out and the front tank eventually fills as the rear tank equals into it and then the gauge reads full and they both are actually full. Has anyone put on a second fill?

Fresh water tanks

Do all toy haulers have dual fresh water tanks? Mine is a 377se and I have noticed that my faucetes spit air some time even when I have been running water before. How can I tell if I do or not?

You might because that is one of the problems i was having, it would take like an hour for the pump to fill the lines, and then it would spit and spudder all the time. The reason is because the back tank was not full, so the line that draws to the pump was not making contact with water so it was sucking air. once i found this problem and filled both my tanks it maybe took 8 seconds to fill all the lines and there was absolutely no spitting and spuddering. You should try to pull back your coroplast under your water fill and peek up in there and see if there is 2 tanks.
